Firm Overview Transcript
John Creswell:
To keep our legacy strong and provide a clear path forward. We remain focused on our core values of quality, reliability, and specialization. Our values come from our founding in 1932 when two securities analysts started an investment firm whose sole focus with stock research. More than nine decades later our emphasis remains true to our founding, providing quality investment research and portfolio management for a handful of listed real asset strategies.
Susan Ford:
We pursue excellence in every aspect of our firm, and quality is integrated into everything we do, our people, our investment process, and ultimately the portfolios that we manage. All of our work, whether investment related or non-investment related is focused on providing the highest quality and designed to produce value added results for our clients. Our quality bias seeks to provide consistent and repeatable results and is why we feel we are stronger today than ever.
Rodney Clayton:
Reliability means consistency over time. We do not take our heritage for granted, but we all do our part to improve upon the processes and products we oversee. We appreciate that our clients have relied on us for decades and good times and bad to improve their investment outcomes. The world is constantly changing and we continually strive to run our firm in a manner that delivers reliability for our clients and employees now and in the years to come.
Kyle West:
Where we stand out is our ability to dive deep and to select the best names in the specialized sectors we're invested in. The markets we deal in are highly nuanced and without a high level of expertise, it can be difficult to cut through the noise. Portfolio managers at Duff & Phelps really empower the analyst to develop high conviction themes and stock ideas that ultimately drive the positioning and the shape of the portfolio. Remaining specialist in a handful of asset classes gives us the best chance to retain an advantage over the market.
David Grumhaus:
Over the last few years, we have seen steady growth in assets under management, a broadening of our client base and the launch of several new investment strategies. As part of that growth, we remain steadfast in investing in our people and adding the necessary resources to support the changing needs of our clients. Today we are truly a global leader, in listed real assets. We continue to address many issues facing our industry, including ESG. At Duff & Phelps, we are dedicated to understanding ESG's impact and economic value and integrating ESG factors into our investment decisions. Lastly, we strive to create a workplace where our employees are both valued and appreciated. As we know, this leads to better employee performance and greater firm stability. I’m very proud of how we have navigated the last few years. And I'm even more excited for the next stage of our growth.
John Creswell:
Our employees are aligned with the firm's mission and working towards a common goal. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with clear and consistent communication so that they know what we are doing, how we are doing it, and how it affects them. We look forward to hearing from you to learn more about how we can partner together.
